Having grown up in Winnipeg, Rian still considers herself a prairie person. Her residence since then has bounced from Kelowna and Vancouver to London U.K. and back, a long spell in Toronto and finally our own Forest City London.
Working life was mainly in libraries (film and newspaper), with a sprinkling of varied and temporary enterprises.
While having something to read at all times is a necessity mysteries have been a constant. Her impetus is to add to that specific genre, although she also continues to work on a film script from time to time.
